A coil pot, made for a sculpture class in college. For no particular reason, I used the pistil of a flower as the basis for the design. If I recall correctly, the only requirements for the assignment were that the pot had to be 24" tall and the base had to be symmetrical.
(Photographic note: I really need to reshoot this piece against a neutral background. One of these days I'll have to pick up some light grey cloth for this purpose.) |
