This is the first mobile I ever made. I was in 8th grade at the time, and in retrospect, I can't believe I got it to balance right considering that I went about the whole process of making it completely backwards. The reason I made it was because I wanted a nifty abstract mobile to hang in my room, but I couldn't possibly afford to buy one from a real artist. I still believe that this is the best sort of reason for undertaking almost any artistic endeavor. |
